NaPoMo

Day 29

I wrote today’s poem. It’s entirely too personal to post, and so I will only say that it’s about dying stars.

Someone Else’s Poem: Langston Hughes’ “I, Too, Sing America”

One more day of drafting, and then a break.

Some other NaPoMo work to check out:

Donna V is posting snippets of her drafts (and occasionally whole poems) on her blog, and they are quite wonderful.
Ashley has been posting her translations from the French poet Jacques Prévert and original drafts of her own work. The original drafts were inspired by photos from Black and WTF, and some of them are just insanely beautiful.

Both are doing incredible work this month. Spend some time.
