I’m four poems away from finishing the month. This is the best I’ve done with this challenge in years. And I think probably some of the best draft work I’ve done in years, too. I’m happy with a lot of what I’ve done this month. And I’m excited to dig in and start revising.
Rachel’s Day 26 Poem: For a Friend I Have Never Met Who Lives Across the Sea
Someone Else’s Poem: Valzhyna Mort’s “Belarusian I”
Your drafts this year have been amazing. Really. You have hit some sort of stride that is so impressive. (And the grackle may make you sad, but the poems have something special in them.)
